What is PupDates?

FUN SOCIAL EVENTS FOR BOTH YOU AND YOUR SMALL DOG

Pup Dates celebrates the joy, quirks and companionship of small dogs — giving you delightful moments, meaningful connections and a life full of tail wags.

🐾 Pup Dates –  We are for Small Dogs & the Humans Who Adore Them 🐾

Hi! I’m Rose the besotted owner of Romeo (he is the gorgeous smiley boy in the banner) you may recognise us from the first episode of – The Dog House where we had our magical moment. I am a lifelong dog lover, small dog mum, and the founder of Pup Dates.

I started Pup Dates for one reason: I couldn’t bear leaving my pup behind every time I went out to do something fun. I wanted a way to enjoy life with my dog — not apart from them. And when I looked around Sydney, I realised I wasn’t the only one.

So, I created Pup Dates — a warm, welcoming place where your small dog is not just allowed… they’re the main event. Whether you’re out making new mates in your 20s or easing into a well-earned retirement, Pup Dates brings together people who want to share their time, stories, and adventures — all with their little sidekick right there beside them.

Think brunch at Sydney’s most dog-friendly spots, bush walks with stunning views (and treats at the end), or coach trips to the Hunter Valley where dogs are VIP passengers too. Every Pup Date is carefully planned to be safe, social, and a bit of a giggle.

Less “just a walk”, more “your dog’s social calendar just got busier than yours.”
No awkward small talk — just dog talk, and friends who get it.

So if your small dog is the light of your life (same), come join the fun. We’d love to welcome you both.

If you are wondering if you dog is small enough for Pup Dates (around 6 kilos is the limit)  please reach out and send us a photo to Woof@pupdates.com.au – we restrict the size of the dogs on Pup Dates to keep the little ladies and gentleman safe and happy.

However, whilst they may not be able to make it onto a Pup Date join up and discover many of the dog friendly places you can explore and enjoy together.

Over the past eight years, we’ve created unforgettable moments together: from high teas at Vaucluse House and ferry trips to Patonga, to market strolls, pampered picnics, and even speed boat rides to Dangar Island. We’ve dined across the city, explored the Blue Mountains, and made lifelong friends—both two- and four-legged.

Our goal is simple: to deliver memorable experiences that both you and your pup will love. Some events have a small booking fee with pay-as-you-go options, while others are all-inclusive at a discounted rate for members.

Looking ahead to 2025, we’re excited to return to the Hunter Valley, venture into the Southern Highlands, and launch our first-ever Dogmas in July – complete with festive outfits and cosy winter vibes. Weekends away and more paw-some adventures await!

Come join the fun — because life’s just better with your dog by your side
